SAN upgrade, and I mean it…

A few months ago I mentioned the need of… actually refactoring the whole SAN infrastructure, in order to comply to Disaster Recovery requirements, and the like.

Actually, it went way way worse than that, or better (it depends on you point of view). Fact is, we had to massively upgrade the whole infrastructure, from full multipath

redundancy (e.g. double “leg” on servers), fabric redundancy and tuning/sizing, san upgrade, and D/R appliances activation. It took us weeks of analisys, and lots of weekends, but the result is a real jewel… I really like the new SAN… it’s just the perfect SAN imho.
